J. C. Meeting On Falashas

Labor Zionist Alliance, Abba Eban branch 539, will meet Sunday, Jan 8 at 7:30 PM at Congreg. B'nai Jacob, Jersey City.

Dr. Jay Luger will offer an eyewitness account of ''The Falasha Jews of Ethiopia.''

Dr. Luger, a veterinarian practicising in Forest hills, NY, is a founder of the Ma'aser Tzedakah Collective, a graduate student in Jewish History at Yeshiva University and a Steering Committee member of the North American Conference on ethiopian Jewry.

Dr. Luger was one of a small group which went to Ethiopia last May on a fact-finding mission to alleviate the desparate plight of the rapidly dwindling Falasha community.
